Talstack is the learning platform partner for the iDICE Startup Bridge Founders Lab, a programme designed to support early-stage Nigerian founders building tech-enabled businesses.
The Founders Lab is a 12-week capacity-building programme under the iDICE Startup Bridge initiative. It is designed for founders at the idea, prototype or early Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage who are building digital or technology-driven businesses intended to operate in Nigeria.
The programme supports founders through the early stages of building a business, including clarifying the problem they are solving, testing assumptions with potential customers, building or improving an MVP, developing a practical business model and creating an execution plan.
Founders may access performance-based grants to support MVP development and early execution after completing the programme.
Supporting growth through practical learning is central to our work at Talstack. This partnership gives us the opportunity to provide Nigerian founders with the skills, structure and support they need to turn promising ideas into viable businesses.
For the iDICE Startup Bridge Founders Lab, our role is twofold:
1. Powering the Learning Experience: The Talstack learning solution will enable participants to engage with the programme’s content in a structured and accessible environment.
2. Contributing to the Coursework: Working with the iDICE Startup Bridge team, our in-house course development team drew on its experience in designing practical, real-world learning programmes to help develop the Founders Lab curriculum.
Our mission at Talstack is to elevate the quality of operator talent across Africa.
Although much of our work supports HR and People teams as they develop critical employee skills, the same principle applies to founders: meaningful progress requires deliberate learning, practical application and accountability.
Nigeria has no shortage of ambitious entrepreneurs with strong ideas. However, many ideas die long before they can get the support they need to become sustainable businesses. This program will enable hundreds of founders across Nigeria’s six geo-political zones to take their business ideas from concept to execution.
In addition, participants who meet defined milestones and demonstrate strong progress, at key points in the programme, will unlock grant funding of up to ₦10,000,000 (Ten Million Naira).
Seni Sulyman, Founder & CEO of Talstack, said:
“One of Talstack's focus areas is helping talented people access the learning, skills and feedback they need to create extraordinary value. What makes this programme exciting is experienced operators and entrepreneurs teaching cohorts of founders from across Nigeria. This kind of entrepreneurship knowledge transfer is rare, and we're glad to be part of making it available”
